Crowded Cars—England

That claustrophobic feel.
A seediness that is old
not antique.
Small cracked and fractured places.
Miniature obstacle spaces.
Restricted and confined in
wet dismal faces.
The narrow mind
cramped into tiny races
and tightened by automobile cases.

Collision avoidance—back up,
overtake, move sideways, give way.
Do not block the driveway.
Try the calming approach,
the narrow squeezed places
designed to slow traffic
instead of a give-way roundabout.
Abolish them all, and walk!
